Course Description:

This 3 hour class will serve as a basic introduction to the world of Screen Printing. In it you will learn the necessary steps to turn an original drawing or image into your very own hand-printed t-shirts. Perfect for complete beginners or those in need of a refresher.

Our 3,000 square foot studio is equipped with all of the materials and equipment needed to screen print and our skilled instructor will guide you through the fascinating process.

We Will Provide:

- ink

- screens

- squeegees

- cleaning supplies

- scrap fabric for practice

- aprons

- blank tote bags available for purchase

You Should Bring:

- wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty

- an image, emailed to us beforehand*

- blank shirts to print**

*There are some important guidelines to follow when creating the image you wish to print. Once you reserve a spot in the class you will automatically receive a PDF download link containing artwork guidelines.

**All students should bring up to 12 t-shirts to print their image on. Inexpensive blank t-shirts can be found in craft stores, thrift stores, and big box stores. Participants should bring more than one blank shirt, but due to time constraints, we ask that you please limit yourself to no more than 12. Fabrics with a lot of texture (corduroy or twill, for example) are not recommended. 100% cotton is ideal, and will be easiest to learn on. Light colored blanks will work best as the inks we will be printing with will not show up on dark backgrounds. We will also have blank tote bags available for purchase.
